How does the printing work?
Sublimation printing is a unique printing technique that allows for full coverage printing on cases. Unlike traditional printing methods, sublimation printing uses a special film and sublimation inks to print your design. The print is then transferred onto the case using high temperature and pressure. This ensures that the print is printed around the edges of the case for a complete coverage look.
The cases are placed on top of specially formed moulds in the sublimation vacuum machine. Afterwards the film containing the prints is aligned above the products. When everything is in position, the vacuum process starts. Thanks to the high temperature and vacuum-pressure the film melts around the snap cases. The inks will become liquid and transfer into the coating of the snap case.
